The Remade Steering group and Mid Pennine Arts would now like to commission a media/film artist to work on an inter generational, creative project working with local secondary schools and the local community to establish a sense of connection / identity and positive future vision of the site. Some collaboration is expected to take place alongside the local community and the lead artist who will be working on a historical/interviewing project gathering knowledge about the history and future aspirations for the site. moves10 - open call for entriesDisplay until date: 13 Dec 2009 Description: MOVES10 "FRAMING MOTION" | CALL FOR ENTRIES moves10 in preparing for its 6th edition in April 2010 with a new and exciting programme going more international than ever and presenting work indoors and outdoors, featuring international screenings, talks, interactive installations, workshops and live events. moves is now inviting artists to submit their work for inclusion in the 2010 festival programme. moves10 expands the open call and welcomes screen-based installations as well as films and papers exploring movement through its context and method of capturing motion. The works must have been completed from January 2008 onwards moves10 the Theme Under the theme “Framing motion”, the festival will explore how practitioners choose to frame movement through their choice of setting and context, viewed through the eyes of the director choreographer, animator,... in defining the boundaries for screen-based works. under the bridgethis little watercolour was done whilst I was in Spain with a minimum of facilities,it was a convenient subject because you could seperate it into sections which made it convenient for a holiday task but the outcome has a nice harmonious whole.For those interested the image is of Walmsley Bridge near Inglewhite on the river Brock.
