WHO: artists and designer-makers with at least one years professional practice and the ability to work with minimal technical support. AA2A welcomes disabled applicants, non-graduates and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. Artists on AA2A 2007-08 can now reapply.

WHAT: the AA2A project offers the opportunity to undertake a period of research or realise a project using art college facilities, eg studios, workshops, lending library and lecture programme. AA2A schemes aim to benefit students and colleges through their interaction with practising artists.

WHEN: at least 100 hours of access (from Oct-April) is free. Application packs are only available directly from the colleges. Closing dates for applications vary between colleges but all are in September 2010.

PAYMENTS: a materials/travel grant of £220 is usually available.
