CENTRED

Colin Binns makes mixed media paintings that combine visual ideas of place with abstract concepts of memory and personal myth.
The title of this exhibition comes from the artist’s interest in Eastern traditions of energy patterns found in centres of human activity in the landscape. The paintings have developed from an exploration of such centres along the Fylde coastline through painting, photography and words.
